Completed Communication & Donor Bootcamp training

Awarded grants by Tracy Family Foundation, Thrivent, Penny Power, Noon/Breakfast Kiwanis

Hunters now occupying Caretaker House, Oct 1st through January 21st

Horses in residence at Jensen Woods year-round

In the process of building horse shelters

Held Two-day event, Soup in The Woods, which included vendors, games, camp tours, delicious food

In process to stock ponds with fish

In process of redesign and building of bridge below Oaks

Plans are moving forward for Faith Garden

Signed Timber harvest contract with Corsaw Timber

Enrolled farmland in CRP

Planted Sunflower plot and some pumpkins

Cleared dead trees behind Caretaker House (Adams Electric)

Redecorated A-frame interior and exterior improvements (Bob & Rob Mc Neff & friends)

Employed part-time cleaning personnel, 5 hours weekly

Employed part-time maintenance personnel

Held our Annual Meeting, 4th Sunday in April

Completed water line replacement thanks to David Schuster & crew (Golden, IL)

Hosted Summer Camp for 153 campers June/July 2021

Accepted a donation for bale fork for tractor

Placed three window air conditioners in Caretaker House

Began offering guided trail rides to the general public

Refinanced JCF property mortgage with Compeer, 30-year, fixed rate, low interest loan.

Set-up booths at Adams and Brown County Fairs.  2 winners each fair ($100 & $50 camp gift certificates)

Participated in parades- Smiles Day (Rushville) Brown County (Mt. Sterling) and Dogwood (Quincy)    

      “Christmas in the Village” (Camp Point, IL)

Hosted two weddings on the camp

Purchased new fire extinguishers

Received a grant for purchase of an additional AED device

Cleared brush near A-frame (Adams Electric)

Held Paddles for a Purpose which was a HUGE success at Moorman Park, Quincy, IL

Voted to construct 4 new RV sites

Refunded some campers prepaid fees because of Covid cancellations

Established CP42 (pollinator) plot

Received donated shingles & siding (Mike Tournear)

Received a Brown County United Way Grant, which provided Summer Camp startup fees

Renamed 3 outdoor chapels: Roselyn’s Love Chapel, Helen’s Hope Chapel and Gretchen’s Faith Chapel

Hosted Quincy Saddle Club for camp trails tour

Kids of Chaddock (Quincy) volunteered labor for one afternoon a week, for several months

Received donated furniture for A-frame, Bunkhouse and Caretaker House

Began six month training through Campfire Concepts on 06-11-2021 

Received Gift of Grain donations

Launched another successful Spectrum Ad on internet for Summer Camp

Completed two bathrooms in Dixon Lodge basement

Hosted Mt. Sterling YMCA Kids Day at Camp

Board member, Diane Royalty retired. Rachel Hocking was voted onto the Board

Architect Brian Spencer began advising JCF Board
